# LemonSqueezy Payment and Licensing Notice

**Version:** 1.2.4
**Effective date:** July 27, 2026

LemonSqueezy processes Vantage checkout, receipts, taxes where applicable, refunds, and license-key issuance under its own terms and privacy policy. That1Dev does not receive full payment-card details from the desktop application.

Vantage Office contacts LemonSqueezy’s License API directly over HTTPS for activation, validation, and deactivation. Customers do not need to configure or wait for a separate Vantage activation backend. The app verifies the returned product identity, status, activation limit, usage, expiration, and device instance before unlocking editing.

LemonSqueezy’s validation and deactivation operations require the license key and instance ID. Vantage therefore stores them only inside operating-system-protected local application state where available and never writes the raw key to ordinary configuration or logs. Temporary provider/network outages can trigger a limited offline grace period; revoked, disabled, expired, or over-limit licenses can restrict editing. No hardcoded customer license or merchant API secret is included in Vantage.
