# Vantage Office End User License Agreement

## Agreement and license
By installing or using Vantage Office, you accept this EULA. Subject to payment and these terms, That1Dev grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Vantage Office on devices you own or control for lawful personal or internal business use. The software is licensed, not sold.

## Trial and activation
A new installation can receive a three-day trial beginning on first real launch. Continued editing after the trial requires a valid LemonSqueezy-issued license key and successful activation. Device and activation limits are shown at purchase or activation. When the trial or license is not active, Vantage may restrict editing while preserving reasonable read-only and export access so you can retrieve your content.

## Restrictions
You may not bypass licensing or security controls; distribute malware; use Vantage to violate law or third-party rights; resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially host Vantage without written permission; remove notices; or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it.

## Your content
You retain rights in content you create or import. You are responsible for permissions, accuracy, backups, recovery keys, sharing settings, and legal compliance. Vantage is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, accounting, records-retention, or emergency services.

## Local files, cloud storage, and continuity
Local projects remain on your device unless you choose OneDrive on Windows, a user-selected cloud-synced folder on Linux, Vantage Continuity, export, email, or another connected feature. Cloud providers and recipient devices operate under separate terms. Vantage Continuity encrypts transfers but does not hide network metadata and cannot protect a compromised endpoint.

## AI and media
Local grammar and design tools can operate without transmitting content. The managed Cloudflare Workers AI assistant receives only project areas you explicitly authorize for that request through Vantage’s Cloudflare route, subject to Cloudflare terms and quotas. Online images and GIFs come from third parties and may require attribution or separate rights review.

## Updates
Installed builds may check for and download signed updates in the background. Installation is completed through a controlled restart or the operating system’s package manager. You may use supported update controls, but older versions may stop receiving fixes.

## Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or perfectly compatible operation. No threat list, encryption feature, AI result, import converter, or backup method can eliminate all risk.

## Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, That1Dev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost data, profits, business, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability related to Vantage will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Vantage during the twelve months before the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

## Termination
This license ends if you materially breach it. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive. Termination does not transfer ownership of your content to That1Dev.
